My art is a vibrant array of colour and texture. I prominently work with acrylics and gold leaf to create striking pieces. Inspiration comes from my Indian heritage and also from shapes and patterns I observe around me.
I create texture from a variety of materials from structure gels, modelling paste to plaster and PVA glue. By manipulating these materials, using brushes, palette knives and spoons I work the texture to create eye-catching artwork that is unique and truly something remarkable.
My passion is to make timeless pieces that are captivating.
How it all began
I have always been artistic from a very young age, my parents tell me, in my spare time I would always be found making things from whatever was available and would spend hours on “arts and crafts”.
When it was time to choose A-Levels and university degree I did not follow my interest in art. Instead I pursued the route of a Mathematics degree coupled with Business Studies, and went into the exciting world of Finance and Banking. I have worked for Investment Banks, Hedge Funds and Investment Houses with my career in the city spanning over 10 years. I decided to give up the rat race in 2019 to pursue my passion in art and work for myself.
This is how my journey started and I am excited to see where it will take me.
